Descrierea
Hotel Katajanokka is a privately owned lifestyle hotel. Built into the historic premises of the former Helsinki country prison, the hotel now offers comfort, stylish Nordic design and exceptional service inside its red brick walls. It is located in Katajanokka close to Uspenski Cathedral, the harbour and the Helsinki Cathedral. Rooms are carefully reconstructed from original cell blocks, with design and decor that makes no compromises on functionality and comfort. Purpose-built for privacy and peace, the metre-thick brick walls make the rooms very quiet, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Whilst the tall ceilings and individually adjustable cooling system add on to the airy and spacious vibe, the triple-glazed windows keep the hustle and bustle of the city outside. All room rates include a generous buffet-breakfast, free use of our 24-hour gym and a complimentary weekend sauna.
