The Romano Palace Luxury Hotel has been inagurated in 2004 and it is the first de-luxe hotel in this part of Sicily. It rises in an ideal location, on the seafront of Catania in an area called “La Plaja”. It is immersed in 25.000 square metres of private gardens, just few minutes far from Catania historical centre and “Vincenzo Bellini” airport. 100 twin and double rooms divided into classic, superior & deluxe categories, with amazing views over the private garden, the sea, the pool or the impressiveEtna mountain. All rooms offer the most modern and sophisticated equipments such as: Tv Sat, Sky Tv, high-speed WI-FI and cable ADSLInternet connection, minibar, laptop rental and safe deposit box. 4 de-luxe suites furnished with a special, impressive design that combines styles from East to West, according to the international and multiethnic atmosphere of the hotel: the Maroccan, the Gold Baroque, the Japanese, and the White Baroque. All of them with double bathroom and Jacuzzi bathtube, large screen plasma 42-ich TV and a large terrace equipped with table, chairs and comfortable chaises-longues. The external pool is a seasonal pool, opened in summer time

Restaurant

The refined gourmet restaurant Coriandolo reflects the spirit that animates the hotel offering a rich selection of tasteful menus from the regional tradition, elaborated with the Chef’s creativity. The wine list is a window over the Mediterranean area with unforgettable bottles of most famous Italian cellars.

Close to the Tokaj Garden are the Arabic Fontains, ideal place where to relax for a breaks or a cocktail. As well as, the Buddha Bar area, a wide terrace surrounded by eucalyptus in the privacy of the hotels’ gardens, suitable for any kind of outdoor event.

The relaxing atmosphere of the main Lounge Bar is enriched by the warm colours of Egyptian marbles and oriental mosaics, delightfully combined with the green of our private gardens. Opening in the morning until late evening, for rich breakfasts, snacks, fine selection of teas and tasty cocktails, all accompanied by delicious appetizers home made by our Chef.

The roof garden restaurant Papavero Blu opens in the morning for a rich breakfast buffet and in the evening becomes a perfect location for gala dinners and banquets.
