PRE-AUTHORISATION REQUIREMENT Upon check-in, Noru Hotel requires a pre-authorization of €50.00 per room per night, capped at a maximum of €200.00, to be held on a valid credit card in the guest's name. Please note that cash payments are not accepted at the hotel for this purpose. WHAT IS A PRE-AUTHORISATION? A pre-authorization is not a charge. It is a temporary security hold placed on a guest's credit card at the point of check-in. The cardholder's bank will ring-fence the relevant amount within their available balance for the duration of the stay — however, no funds are actually debited. On the day of departure, provided there are no outstanding charges to settle, Noru Hotel will notify the guest's card issuer to release the hold in full. The funds typically become available again within 3 to 10 business days, depending on the guest's bank or card provider. IMPORTANT — CARD TYPE Guests must present a valid credit card upon check-in. Prepaid cards, debit-only cards, and virtual cards may not be accepted for pre-authorization purposes.
