During its restoration, the characteristics of the original 18th century building were preserved, which makes it possible to appreciate the vaulted ceilings and the prominent stones, now an intrinsic part of the decor of the Pousada de Portugal, intended to combine these inherited characteristics with a modern and comfortable ambience. As a tribute to the name of this street, details of a variety of flowers form part of the decor. With 84 rooms duly furnished and decorated to ensure a comfortable stay, their neutral colours and wooden panels lend this space an even more welcoming atmosphere.
